The Game'S Ratings Were Unsatisfactory

According to the Wall Street journal October 10: Roger Goodell, the league's President, wrote to the league's 32 owners asking players to stand up for the national anthem. The NFL policy statement changed "players should stand up, face the flag, put their helmets in their hands, and can't speak."

In "Monday night football," the Minnesota Viking and the Chicago bears compete fiercely. But the game's ratings were unsatisfactory, a 17 percent drop from the same period last week and the lowest in the season.

A day earlier, the "Sunday night football" in the United States also hit a new base, with the Kansas city chiefs on a road victory over the Houston texans Madden 18 Coins. But post-match Nielsen ratings showed 10.6/18, down 3% from last week.

After the game, chief executive Clark Hunt received a letter from NFL commissioner Roger goodell. The recent controversy over the national anthem and the national flag is inconsistent with what the NFL has always been in harmony, the letter said. The NFL's unity is being eroded, and the NFL can be better off with unity. So, in the next game, everyone has to stand up to the national anthem.
